My name is Doug MacLeod and while traveling in China with my wife Peng Tao, I continually took note of the beautiful and unusual furniture decorating the hotels, homes, and restaurants we visited. I commented on this to my wife and she told me that these designs were "very traditional and seen most everywhere in China". I smiled and told her that they may be common in China but that they were unknown and unseen in the United States. I told her that there were many people who would love to see, and most probably, own some of the furniture I was seeing.
